You got me burnt out reading it Trev lololTook all the toyes from the locker, torch charged, camping lamp charged, roadside emergency lamp charged, fixed a blown fusr for headlamp dip drivers side, went over all flueds in engine bay & last but not least done all tyre pressures, cream crackered now.
Just can't keep a Good Man downInternal cleaning, having used Brunhilde to transport redundant stuff to the Recycling Centre when in France. Looks slightly less 'boggin' now, but back to France via Rye RFC Rally next week, so it will look as bad as ever, rather quickly ...

Sorry David, I missed this post for some reason, it is the charger that has the blown fuse, (the meter is fine) and as it is for a long defunct drill driver I cannot replace it but it does the job as intended 12 years later and I have two of them.I am reading this as a post about fixing a multimeter and not a charger at this stage?
If so .... You say it is an old Multimeter. Depending how good it was and still is, I would be careful about paying someone to supply and fit a fuse? You could find the cost of doing so is more than a replacement Multimeter would be? (and of course, fuse may have blown for a real reason and a new one will just blow again so no farther forward).
Unless the Meter is a pretty nice one, I'd suggest bining it. (e.g. I would try and fix my oldest Meter even though it is 40 years old as it is a quality Fluke one. I wouldn't think about fixing another much newer old meter I have that cost under a tenner)
See the Temp gone up as well as the TripometorTook it for a spin.View attachment 73702View attachment 73703
