Keep up the good work SteveDescaled the Water Heater [but will have to wait until tomorrow to do the final full water system flush out, fitted the mounting box for the fridge fans, and assisted Elaine in resewing the 'safety net' buckle on the nearside of the drop down bed [fell off in 2022 and I never got round to fixing it ...]
Also began the decluttering of my myriad of boxes of tools, nuts, bolts and other essential/'never know when we might need one of these' [so carry 6 'just in case'] to remove over 5kg of kit that hasn't seen daylight in 3 years ... Another sweep tomorrow to remove more detritus!

You need a gas safe engineer with lpg component if you want it certifying. Most HAB check places will not have this, that is if you really want certificationI finished fitting the Thetford oven to complete the fridge stack. The trick was to to seal the cabinet in such a way that any gas leaked would not enter the cabin. Since fitting the Thetford compressor fridge, the old 3way fridge/oven stack side panel vents had to be closed up. Thanks for the support on my regulator pressure dilemma. I found out that all recent continental builds do not use 50mbar anymore. I need to get a habitation check to certify the few gas connections I had to make. Still looking for someone to do it here in Dublin.
I also had the right rear ABS sensor replaced. I couldn't get it out so the mechanic had to remove the wheel hub to pull it through. Just a little too heavy a job for me these days.
Probably. Even the best of them get their facts wrong. The good ones learn though.Took the M/Home for a fridge flue clean. When I arrived, the Boss said he could tell the system was ok because the flame and igniter were burning the right colour and because there were no fumes or sooty deposits around the top gas vent. But he then went on to say that I should get a hab check to preserve my insurance ...
And finished off by saying that Lithium Batteries are not suitable for M/Homes because they lose power with no warning and don't charge in the cold, whereas a Lead Acid has a gradual power decine [he didn't mention buggering them up by deep discharge ...]. Only consolation was he didn't charge for the flame inspection, but a surreal experience. Probably time to look for a new Testing Facility ...
